The Sixth Annual Marco Island Film Festival, southwest Florida's premier film event, is seeking film entries for the November 5-9 festival. Feature-length and shorts in drama, comedy, and animation. Awards honoring filmmakers presented during closing ceremony. Call for entry deadline is August 15, 2003.

This festival is reaching global proportions, attracting hundreds of independent films from all over the world for this year’s exciting line-up of screenings at Marco Movies.
Filmmakers enjoy the island style hospitality of this intimate and meaningful festival filled with lots of awards and networking opportunities. Audiences will enjoy a fantastic vacation spot that includes nightly beach screenings, elegant celebrity parties, fun panels, high-tea with…, awards ceremony, and great movies. Opening Night’s "Sandals and Cinema" has become the signature event of the festival with a film screening on the beach and under the stars. The event is open to the public and draws a huge audience. Pure heaven!!!
